Privacy Policy

A plain-English record of what every form on this site collects, where it lives, and how to ask for it back.

This page documents the personal data collected by every public form on tadhgslater.com, how each submission is stored, how long it is kept, and how to request deletion. Questions, deletion requests, and concerns can be sent to privacy@tadhgslater.com.

What this site collects

Six pages on tadhgslater.com host public forms that collect personal data: /donate, /ministry, /acquire, /auction, /press, and /appointments. Each form is described below by route, by the fields it captures, and by what the field is used for.

The site does not collect payment card numbers, bank details, social security numbers, or any government identifier. It does not run third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioral analytics. The only third-party script that loads on any page is the Polsia analytics beacon, which records anonymized page views.

What each form collects

/donate

Member, Citizen, and One-time donation

Three sister forms, one per tier. They collect the same fields and differ only in the value of the hidden tier marker.

  • name Required. Used to address the reply, and for tier recognition in the studio letter or catalog colophon.
  • email Required. Used to send payment instructions within 48 hours, and to follow up if a payment does not arrive.
  • note Optional. Free-text field covering preferred payment method, timing, and anything else the visitor wants the studio to know before replying.
  • tier Hidden. One of member, citizen, or one-time. Set by which donation card the visitor selected.

No card details are ever typed into this site. Payment is initiated through a Stripe-hosted payment link that the visitor receives by email after the studio replies.

/ministry

Founding-Member Enrollment

Application for Massachusetts-law Founding Membership in the Ministry of Art. Citizenship is a separate, conferred status and is not collected through any form.

  • name Required. Recorded on the Founding-Member roll, exactly as the visitor wishes it to appear.
  • email Required. Used to send the confirmation.
  • affiliation Optional. Institution, collective, or independent. Recorded alongside the name on the Founding-Member roll for context.

/acquire

Collector list signup

Early-auction and direct-sale notification signup for the Concrete Winter series. No purchase is initiated through this form.

  • name Required. Used to address the catalog and availability notifications.
  • email Required. Used to send the early-bid catalog (72 hours before public release) and direct-sale availability notes.
  • hook_auction Checkbox, default on. Opts the visitor into early-bid catalog delivery.
  • hook_collector_list Checkbox, default off. Opts the visitor into direct-sale availability notes.

/auction

Early-Bid Access Request

Request form for the full auction catalog with reserve prices. Opens the conversation between the collector and the studio ahead of the public auction.

  • name Required. Used to address the reply.
  • email Required. Used to deliver the catalog within 24 hours.
  • organization Optional. Private collection, gallery, museum, advisor, or other affiliation context.
  • message Optional. Collecting context: lots of interest, collecting focus, advisor relationships, timeline, any constraint worth flagging now.
  • subject Hidden. Set to "Auction . Concrete Winter . Early-Bid Access Request" so the notification email is automatically routed by topic.

/press

Press Kit Request

Editorial and review request form. Used by writers, editors, and outlets preparing coverage.

  • name Required. Used to address the reply.
  • email Required. Used to deliver the press kit and respond to follow-up.
  • publication Optional. Outlet, magazine, or platform the request is filed for.
  • deadline Optional. Free-text field covering filing deadline, story angle, or any other context that helps prepare the right materials.

/appointments

Studio Visit Request

Request form for in-studio visits in Provincetown, currently scheduled between June and September.

  • name Required. Used to address the reply.
  • email Required. Used to confirm a time within 48 hours.
  • preferred_date Optional. Helps with scheduling. The studio confirms an actual time by email regardless.
  • message Optional. Context, questions about specific works, preferred timing, anything useful for scheduling.

The studio does not collect a phone number through this form. If a visit is urgent, the form's success message provides a direct text number for one-time use.

How submissions are stored

Every form submission writes one row to a table in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon. The database is accessed only from this application server, which is hosted on Render. Tables in use for the forms above include contacts, collector_inquiries, appointment_requests, mailing_list, and ministry_ratifications.

No card or payment data is collected or stored on this site. Payment is initiated through Stripe-hosted payment links generated via the Polsia email relay. Card numbers, bank details, and payment confirmations never touch this site's database.

Every successful form submission is also emailed to tadhgslater@gmail.com via the Polsia email relay. The email is a notification of the same row that was written to the database, not a separate record.

How long submissions are kept

Submissions are kept while the studio is actively corresponding with the visitor or holding a tier commitment, then archived. In practice:

One-time donations, press requests, and appointment requests are deleted after the conversation closes. Closing the conversation means payment has been received, press materials have been delivered, or the visit has taken place and any follow-up notes are complete.

Tier enrollments (Member, Citizen, Founding-Member) and ministry ratifications are kept for the lifetime of the program so that the studio can honor recognition obligations: studio letters, catalog colophons, Annual Convocation records, and the Founding-Member roll.

How the data is used

Personal data is used only to: reply to the visitor, send payment instructions, coordinate logistics (studio visits, press deadlines), recognize supporters in studio letters and catalogs, and maintain the constitutional records of Citizenship and Founding-Member ratifications.

The studio does not sell or rent personal data. The studio does not share personal data with third parties beyond what is required to deliver the service: Postmark and the Polsia email relay for notification delivery, and Stripe for payment processing when a visitor chooses to pay.

Request deletion

To request deletion of a submission, send an email to privacy@tadhgslater.com. If the privacy alias is not yet set up, write to tadhgslater@gmail.com instead.

Include enough information to identify the submission (the email address used, the form name, and the approximate date is enough). The studio will reply within 30 days with confirmation that the row has been removed.

Tier enrollments (Member, Citizen, Founding-Member) and ministry ratifications are kept for the lifetime of the program for recognition obligations. Recognition removals follow a separate procedure initiated by the same email.
