Not a studio to visit. A place to work. Unheated concrete on the Provincetown waterfront.
Provincetown, MA · By appointment
EXHAUST is a working studio in Provincetown, MA. A concrete box on the water. Unheated, windowless, built for nothing except painting.
It is not a co-working space. Not a residency with a stipend and a deadline. No amenities. No community manager. No inspiration provided.
What it is: serious painters working in proximity. Friday critiques every week through the season — honest ones, from people who make work. Shared space that allows for large-scale painting without compromise. Access to a community that has no interest in hobbyists.
If you've been looking for a place where the work is the only standard, this might be it. If you found this page, you're probably closer than most.
This is invite-based. If there's a fit, you may be asked to come in. It's not open enrollment — it's a conversation.

Resident Artist Inquiry
Send a name and an email. Tell us about your practice if you want, or don't — a conversation will happen either way.
There's no application form, no portfolio review, no committee. Tadhg reads these directly. If it makes sense, you'll hear back.
Pricing is handled in conversation, not on this page.
Currently nearing capacity for resident artists. All inquiries are kept on file.
