The Concrete Winter series comes home for the summer. Studio visits on Commercial Street, a handful of confirmed shows across Provincetown galleries, and an open-studio weekend in late August.
Show Calendar
Confirmed exhibition, open-studio, and event dates for the season. New entries posted as they book.
A Working Cape Destination
The Concrete Winter paintings were made inside an unheated studio on the Provincetown waterfront through the 2025 – 2026 winter. The cold, the harbor light, the wind off the pier: each of those conditions is on the canvas. Coming to Provincetown to see the work is the only way to read the paintings the way they were made.
For two months each summer the studio opens to visiting collectors, curators, writers, and serious viewers. One-on-one time with the work, the space, and the artist. No gallery front; no sales floor. A working studio that doubles, briefly, as a Cape destination.
Provincetown is at the tip of Cape Cod, reached by Route 6 from Boston (about two and a half hours), or by ferry from Boston Harbor in ninety minutes. The fast boat is the better trip if your schedule allows it.
